Prayer Lock is a mobile application published by Widenstatistics. It is a Christian screen-time app that uses Apple Screen Time controls, Bible-based routines, and optional practice features to help users reduce distraction.

Information we collect
Information stored on your device
Prayer Lock is designed to keep most core app data local. This can include blocked-app settings, lock state, ritual history, Bible reading progress, practice history, widget preferences, and reminder settings.
Information related to subscriptions
If you purchase or restore a subscription, we use RevenueCat and Apple’s App Store systems to determine purchase status, manage entitlements, and support subscription restoration.
Analytics and diagnostics
We may use analytics and diagnostics tools, including Firebase services, to understand app stability, feature usage, and basic product performance. These tools help us improve the app and troubleshoot issues.
AI chat requests
If you use Chat with Scripture, messages you send in that feature are transmitted to OpenAI to generate responses. The app discloses this before first use. Please avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into the chat.
Website/contact information
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you provide in your message, such as your email address and the details of your request.
Permissions used by the app
Screen Time / Family Controls
This permission is used to support app blocking and unlock rules. Without it, Prayer Lock can still run in a limited mode, but it cannot actively block apps.
Notifications
Notifications are used for daily reminders, lock-state updates, and timed unlock support.
Camera
Camera access is optional and is only used if you choose the physical Bible flow, where you capture a quick photo of an open Bible page before unlocking apps.
Microphone
Microphone access is optional and is only used if you choose the voice path in Daily Check-in.
How we use information
- Provide app blocking, unlock timing, reminders, widgets, and progress features.
- Restore purchases and apply premium access when you subscribe.
- Improve app reliability, performance, and troubleshooting.
- Generate responses for the Chat with Scripture feature when you choose to use it.
- Respond to support, privacy, or legal requests you send by email.
How long we keep information
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it, uninstall the app, or overwrite it through normal use. Support emails and service-provider records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for operations, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or support history.
Your choices and rights
You can stop local data collection by uninstalling the app. You can also manage camera, microphone, notifications, and Screen Time permissions in your iPhone settings.
If you contact us, you may request access, correction, or deletion of information we directly hold about you, subject to applicable law and operational limits.
Children’s privacy
Prayer Lock is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
